GRI Certified Training in Sustainability Reporting |

As a certified training partner of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), triple innova offered its first two-day training session in sustainability reporting in January 2011.
Taking the reporting process stage by stage, the trainers outlined the structure and content of the GRI reporting guidelines and worked interactively with the participants to recognise the practical applications. The participants are now prepared to use this generally accepted system of principles and indicators on sustainability reporting within their own organisations in a systematic and constructive way. After the workshop, during a complementary coaching session, the trainers give further advice about implementing the reporting process.
In 2011 the following training sessions will take place:
• 14th – 15th April 2011
• 6th – 7th July 2011
• 26th – 27th September 2011

Hot Spot Analyses for REWE Group |

On behalf of REWE Group triple innova worked out eleven Hot Spot analyses for different groups of products in 2010.
In the first instance these analyses compile environmental and social problems that are identified in scientific publications as well as in current public discussions and, secondly, the problems are prioritised.

Bei der internationalen „Sustainable Innovation“ 2010 Conference, die Anfang November 2010 in Rotterdam stattfand, stellte Brigitte Biermann von triple innova das Papier "Sustainability Hot Spot Analysis: A streamlined life-cycle assessment towards sustainable product innovation” vor, das eine gemeinsame Erarbeitung von Brigitte Biermann, Katrin Bienge, Justus von Geibler, Oliver Adria, Michael Kuhndt, Christa Liedtke und Stephan Schaller aus den drei Institutionen triple innova, Wuppertal Institut und CSCP ist.

Das Ziel der Aktiengesellschaft in Bürger(innen)hand ist regionale Landwirtschaft, Herstellung, Handel und Konsum von (Bio-)Produkten zu fördern. Regionale Weiterentwicklung und Professionalisierung tragen zur Verbreitung regionaler Bio-Produkte, zu transparenten und fairen Arbeitsbedingungen, zur CO2-Reduktion und zu mehr sinnstiftender Arbeit bei.
Die Initiative schafft ein regionales Netzwerk durch Gründung einer Aktiengesellschaft, die Bürgerinnen und Bürgern gehört und finanzielle Hilfen an nachhaltig wirtschaftende Unternehmen gibt, vor allem an Betriebe der Bio-Landwirtschaft, Lebensmittelwirtschaft, Gastronomie, des Tourismus, die in der Region wachsen wollen.
