triple innova led a consultation on the project “top women”, which is jointly promoted by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, EU and the European Social Funds for Germany.
The project is being carried out by the Wuppertal Institute and the
University of Wuppertal. It started in 2009 and is due for completion in
2012. The aim is to identify the potential for change in women who
occupy top positions in the environmental and technology sectors.
Brigitte Biermann is leading the consultation process of the sub-project
“women and power - women at the top of environmental professions” as an
external party; furthermore she is also member of the women’s council
and involved in specialised workshops.
