triple innova, a certified training partner of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), offers certified workshops on sustainability reporting. Four two-day training sessions took place in January, April, September and December 2011 in Wuppertal. Further workshops will be offered in 2012.

During the workshops the trainers presented and explained the structure and content of the GRI Reporting Guidelines and actively involved the participants in practically applying the Guidelines following well-designed phases of the reporting process. The participants are now equipped to use this generally accepted system of principles and indicators on sustainability reporting within their own organisations in a systematic and constructive way. In a complementary coaching session that takes place after the workshops, the trainers give further advice to the participants on an individual basis about implementing the reporting process. Successful participants receive a GRI certificate.
Participants of previous workshops are from a variety of industries, such as textile, construction, chemical, food processing, energy, financial and services. Further certified GRI workshops will be offered in 2012.
