On 17^th February 2011, triple innova ran the workshop “Sustainability as a factor for business success”, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Wuppertal-Solingen-Remscheid. The aim was to enable the participating regional businesses and municipal representatives to grasp the concept of sustainability and apply it in their own organisations.

The workshop trainers explained how to monitor business success by dealing with current sustainability challenges. There was a controversial discussion regarding the boundary between responsible corporate action and added sustainability performance. The participants had the opportunity to reflect on the current challenges faced by their own companies and – in the format of a group activity at the end of the workshop – to share diverse views on the sustainability performance of one of the participating companies.
