triple innova will offer the three-hour workshop “How to make my company become more sustainable” on 28^th March 2012. The workshop is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Wuppertal-Solingen-Remscheid. The target audience is SMEs and other organisations from Wuppertal and the surrounding area.

Today everybody is talking about sustainability and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). All large companies consider sustainability to a greater or lesser extent. However, in medium-sized companies skepticism prevails. And rightly so! If sustainability is seen as “greenwashing” or reduced merely to being an aspect of marketing, it does not deliver any added value to an organisation.

Only a few companies want to become completely “green”, but most are ready to move towards sustainability in some shape or form, if it can help to give them the competitive edge. This workshop provides an insight into what sustainability means for small and medium sized enterprises and gives practical advice on the first steps to take to enhance sustainability performance.
