triple innova again calculated C&A Europe’s Carbon Footrpint in 2010 and supported C&A in communicating their Carbon Footprint information in the latest C&A sustainability report.
The Carbon Footprint gives an overview of all GHG emissions that were
caused by the business operations of C&A at different locations
across Europe during 2009. triple innova assisted C&A in gathering applicable data in the fields of logistics/transportation of goods and business travel and calculated GHG emissions accordingly. triple innova also consolidated building-related data for heating, cooling, lighting and the operation of C&A buildings, which had been calculated by an external service provider. To obtain information on other environmentally relevant business operations (in addition to the Carbon Footprint), such as action taken related to energy efficiency or sustainable sourcing, triple innova supported C&A in implementing an additional data survey. |
