GRI G3 - triple innova generates Indicator Protocols
As a member of an international project consortium, triple innova has been working with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) to develop the new GRI guidelines (G3), which represent an international guidance for companies and organisations to disclose sustainability data and information in a transparent manner. The indicator protocols provide guidance on how to compile the different GRI indicators.
 
High 5! - Practical Guidance for SMEs Sustainability Reporting
Developed by triple innova and the Wuppertal Institute on behalf of and together with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). the High 5! handbook was created using a multi-stakeholder consultative process in response to many requests for a "beginner's guide". It offers a step-by-step guidance and practical how-to advice on using the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, so that SMEs can easily and effectively create sustainability reports that bring value to their businesses and communications practices. Experiences of organisations, that have used the Guidelines to report, are captured in the form of quotes and tips throughout the handbook. A collection of short case studies allows SMEs to tell their stories about the process, the costs, and the benefits of reporting. Read more...
 
BioBeN - Sustainability Assesssment of Biotechnological Products
The project "Assessing Social Sustainability of Biotech Products" within the "Sustainable Bioproduction" programme of the Federal Ministry for Development and Research (BMBF). BioBeN aims at developing a system for assessing the social dimension of sustainability of biotech products. This social assessment of biotechnological production will be made available for practical application through a software tool.

Japan: Governance of Sustainable Development
The Japanese research institute ESRI together with the Cabinet Office of the Japanese Government initiated a study programme to explore long-term questions of the Japanese society, entitled as "Millennium Collaboration Projects". triple innova is participating within the scope of freelance and analyses within this programme practical concepts of eco-efficiency for reaching an increase of resource productivity.

Sustainable Aluminium Industry
The project "Towards a sustainable aluminium industry: stakeholder expectations and core indicators" is conducted by triple innova and the Wuppertal Institute on behalf of the GDA (Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie) and the European Aluminium Industry. The project aimed at developing a sustainability indicator set for the European aluminium industry and encouraging a dialogue with stakeholders on sustainable development. Read more...
 
Support of Eco-Efficiency in Tuscany
In April 2004, during the fair "Terra Futura", the Tuscan Ministry of the Environment hosted the 9th Regional Environment Conference, this year entitled as "Eco-efficiency - a Winning Strategy for Economy and Environment". triple innova was involved in the design of contents, for example by preparing an eco-efficiency brochure. During the conference, Tommaso Franci, the present Councillor for the Environment of Tuscany, announced the Tuscan Eco-efficiency Award. triple innova is in charge of the conceptual design.
