Materiality Disclosure Service

The former Materiality Matters Check was renamed in Materiality Disclosures Service. It still verifies that General Standard Disclosures G4-17 to G4-27 were correctly located in both the GRI Content Index and in the text of the final report.

The 11 Standard Disclosures refer to materiality, aspect boundaries and stakeholder engagement. It is not within the scope of the Materiality Disclosures Service to verify the quality of the reported information and the process of preparing the disclosures. The icon given after successful application of the service will include the name of the organization and the date.
Further information can be found here.

Content Index Service

The GRI Content Index Service is a new service and verifies whether the Content Index of the G4-based reports is accurate and aligned with GRI General Standard Disclosure G4-32. The service emphasizes the importance of the accuracy and usability of the GRI Content Index.
It is not within the scope of the Content Index Service to verify the quality of the reported information and the process of preparing the disclosures. The icon given after successful application of the service will include the name of the organization and the date.
All GRI disclosures in the report must be clearly distinguished using disclosure labels (for example ‘G4-18’ or ‘G4-20’).
